So what. He's participating as an individual, not as the holder of some
sanctimonius office. Would you rather have him behave like a politician
and pretend to be something he's not?
Frankly, I am glad that the people who take on responsibilities within the
Internet infrastructure do *NOT* take on an aloof manner like the
politicians, kings, dictators, and nobility of the past. I'm sure many of
you feel uncomfortable when you don't have a ruling class to lord it over
you, but I certainly enjoy seeing everybody on these lists participating
as equals and especially, I like the fact that IAHC members don't behave
like government officials at a public hearing.
