To clarify: the .tm.bg domain name would be a functioning domain name, for
instance as http://www.cocacola.tm.bg. It would be used in place of
http://www.cocacola.bg, which might be held by another party. Therefore, an
e-mail address could be info@cocacola.tm.bg.

The point of having both of these available is twofold: the .tm space provides
a working, unique domain name for every trademark holder, that corresponds to
the trademark; in addition, it states to the world that the holder of the
domain name is also the ligitimate holder of a trademark registration (not a
pirate or speculator, and not someone misusing his own name, for example).

The process for verification of ownership of a trademark registration need not
be long and expensive. It could be accomplish via a copy of the certificate of
registration, or by reference to an electronic database, if one is available.
