We have resisted this (although it certainly is tempting at times).

However, I can very much recommend the new Netscape Communicator Messenger 
mail client that has a very nice 'Mail Filter Rules...' option that can 
greatly improve your signal to noise ratio by sending contributions from 
certain folks directly to your trash folder.
