dear mr.simon  i think you are not right with your sugestions

i am not competent to comment on that but it looks for me as development
in process that at the moment it is not clear what is the best way to go 
-to allove pre official pre registration or just offical registration on
day X wich i think it is not so posible and useful -the questions still
remains how to prevent sam one to "preregister" sam domains in "silence"
-the market needs such kind of "preregistration" mechanismuss-otheriwse
they will do it in secret    and on other side how to prevent that such
"preregistration" leads to missuse - and "disantvage" sam other potential
registrar  who has not done the "preregistration" 

but as the only reall registration can be done only by the registrars on
day X there is no pregestriation even posible !!

those are mine not so competent and privat vuews from some single
internet user who also want to have a nice .info domain and also concerned
if the "prominent and useful" one would be taken  but it looks also that
the "usual and useful" domains are not always the best becouse they are
easy and  remarkable   it is also sam kind of primitivisam to claim sam
domain names wich are common property as yours becouse you are so 
"smart" and "fast"  example  internet.info

i am for that thus such domains can not be ovned by sam person or
company or sam not competent organisation  becouse they
are property of all   the domain internet.info should be taken for
information purporses of the "internet selfgovernace" wich is slowly
arrising

to create this "internet selfgovernace" is not so easy and we alls should
cooperate and particiapte in it

there is no way or use to exlude your self or others from it
participaiting is the best way to go  and this means cooperation between
all of us

yes this may be true for the monkey and shakespeare but 
for us and internet i hope we will be able to do samthing even more
greather than the work of mr.shakespeare 

it will be great to develope the internet as a tool for common management
of the planet earth and structurisation of the human knowledge and to
have so a solid basis for the "nechst level of networking" 
the inter(pla)net :-)
