  First of all I have not heard that 100 registrars are going to be
allowed under the IAHC's plan.  That being said, I can see that maybe
you missed my original point.  I am not yet a supporter of the
gTLD-MoU not the IAHC's perposal.  But some improvments in that IAHC's
perposal have been made.  But only a few.  I still have problems with
the $20k entry fee.  This is an impedance if not a baraier to a free
market system that is really a form of protectionism that is not needed
not wanted by the public at large.

  In therory, more registrars will provide for more TLD's, such as eDNS
has
done, and an more open system.  No limit on the number of registrars,
is what I would like to see.  As the public have stated with their vote
when the 1995 Telecommunications act was passed.

  I hope this is some help to explaning my thoughts and previous
posting.
