Re: Judge Defers AlterNIC Action

Marc and all,

I am afraid that for the most part what Marc has said here is nearly
right on the mark. Pardon the pun there Marc! >;)

The biggest problem that I see as do others all over the world is
what Marc said here. The MoU does nto scale to our culture. I would
add that it doesn't scale to any culture that I can see. It doesn't
meet the needs and demands of the CURRENT international buisness
community or a large portion of the user community.

As Marc said, there are parts of the MoU that are very good. And I
have in the past pointed out some of those points, so i won't go over
them again now. But the intractability of the gTLD-MoU folks seems
to be another major stumbling block that must be changed. If not
I fear, that some of the good in the MoU may be in jepordy, which would
be a shame.

I would encourage once again, for everyone to LISTEN to all points
with an open mind. In that way, we all can I believe, solve the
DNS system concerns and known problems. Sueing someone like Eugene
as the NSI has done will not make for possitive results, only entrench.
This is NOT a solution or an method of obtaining one.
