Please send your proposal to all lists, not just one. Discussion and 
ideas from different groups may result in yet new ideas. This may not happen if 
discussion is artificially restrained to one list.
     
Plus, if each list comes to the same conclusion, it's probably a much more 
meaningful
conclusion than if one group derives a conclusion.
     
I can't imagine what would posess anybody interested in wide group consensus 
to advise
the opposite.
