Please clarify the source of IANA's authority. IANA has accepted funding from RIPE and APNIC ($25,000 each). Do they still get U.S. govt. funding? To whom are they accountable? If IANA vetoes an amendment to the gTLD-MoU that hurts a company's interests, is IANA legally liable?
