Great weekend


Is there any way the signal to noise ratio could have been
lower than it was this weekend?  Anything?  Besides Godwin's law?

This weekends debate was some of the stupidest, pettiest,
mind-numbingly dumb debate I think I've seen in the whole
saga we've been going through since this all started lo these
many years ago now.

I swear, if this keeps up I'm going to propose a return to
using hosts.txt, DNS and new TLDs and the like be damned.
I will propose putting Paul Vixie and Richard Sexton and
Jon Postel on a vetting committee in charge of the damn
file and the rest of you will have to go fish and whine
about it to your /dev/null devices.
