For sure I am.
Please note that ".tm" is not the solution for TLD problem.
(I think I have it, but a few issues need to be stressed before
show it).
The ".tm" issue has been discussed just in order to define boundaries
netween "domain names" and "trademarks".

Defining ".tm" TLD for trademarks, we're trying to lower the trademark
pressure on generic TLD, that shloud be seen just as nicknames.
For sure the trademark space complexity and non-uniqueness will not
allow a convenient and short set of domains in ".tm" TLD.
Given a "mark", with a short navigation, anyone would be able to find
their occurences and even load their pages.

There is an analogy I like for this new TLD"s discussion.
Suppose we've been using square wheels.
These square wheels don't work very well but are better than dragging
things.
(Compare to the task of having good domain names for everybody in
.com/.net)
Well, somebody may "upgrade" the square wheel by adding a few edges.
(Just like adding a few gTLD's)
New octagonal wheels are smother but that ride is still very
unconfortable.
(Just like believing that adding a few TLD's will solve current
problems)
At this point we remind that a company needs not to have its "one and
only" address. Using virtual site addressing it is possible to have
multiple domains linking to the same site (and pages whitin this site).
Doing it ".tm" will serve as trademark checking, and regular access
probably better provided using regular nickname TLD's.
Jim Fleming posted a note about a "service" that exploits a tricky
issue: register domain names to get back surfers that did key in
wrong url's.
Quoted service works by registering guessable errors.
Variations even include redirecting errors in someone else's url's !
Not to generalize such schemes, but this demonstrate how multiple links
can be used.
As we discuss I am trying to make clear that just adding new
generic "nickname" TLD's will not solve the problem.
TLD additions are probably necessary, but this is NOT the actual
solution.
It's just an "edge smothing" of the "square wheel" of domain names.
A few hints for those of you who like charades:
* How many edges would make this wheel smooth ?
* Comparing "virtual" and "real" worlds can show unexpected solutions.
* How are those problems solved in real-world ?
* "tm" TLD shows that a directory can't be less complex than real-world
model
* Try to forget constraints, to look beyond the root, leave ideas flow.
Last hint:
Often, devising a solution for a hard problem like this TLD issue
is easier for a person not yet involved with it.
Mr Broomield is right alerting us to avoid getting out of focus.
But sometimes, there is a reason to walk-thru some related issues.
