DNS Conference Summary

The DNS Conferenece sponsored by the ITAA, ISA, and the
CDT was extremely valuable.  Our hosts did a good job
of bringing together a diverse group of representatives
from many sides of this issue.

While it appears that the IAHC proposal and the free 
market advocates still disagree over fundamental issues, 
both sides share a strong desire to do what's right for 
the Internet (from their very different perspectives).

There are, however, some new players getting ready to 
enter the debate.  This broadening of perspectives is 
exactly what's required to achieve the best solution to 
the current crisis.  Iperdome will soon be summarizing 
our thoughts on these new entrants, and the implications 
for the future of the Internet.
