Hi,
There has been a major revision of the gTLD-MoU web site at
http://www.gtld-mou.org
In response to requests for improved public information, the
gTLD-MoU interim Policy Oversight Committee is working on a
number of improvements in this area:
* Simplification and better navigation of the gTLD-MoU web site
* Availability of a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ). This
is under development. See http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/faq.html
Questions that parties think should appear in this FAQ should be
sent to poc-submit@gtld-mou.org
* Availability of a Glossary of Acronyms. This is currently
under development. See http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/acronyms.html
Acronyms that parties think should appear in this Glossary should be
sent to poc-submit@gtld-mou.org
* More information about gTLD-MoU related events and timelines.
See http://www.gtld-mou.org/index.html#events
* Availability of the gtld-announce@gtld-mou.org mailing list
for receiving important announcements relating to the
gTLD-MoU. See http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/maillist.htm#announce
This mailing list replaces the iahc-info@iahc.org mailing
list and prior subscribers to this list have been automatically
added to the gtld-announce mailing list.
The gtld-discuss@gtld-mou.org list remains available for general
online discussion of DNS administration activities. See
http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/maillist.htm#discuss
* Start of a gTLD-MoU Outreach Program to assist organizations
to understand the gTLD-MoU program. See
http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/outreach.html
* Improved information concerning WIPO's role in dispute resolution
activities related to the gTLD-MoU.
In addition, and in response to requests to improve the openness of
the gTLD-MoU processes, the interim Policy Oversight Committee plans
to formally solicit public comments on important gTLD-MoU related
issues.
This includes the necessarily represented constituencies and membership
of the gTLD-MoU Policy Oversight Committee with the intent of improving
global DNS stakeholder representation (e.g., better representation of
the business community and users of the DNS). These Request for Comments
Proceedings are under preparation (see http://www.gtld-mou.org/index.html#rfc)
and will be announced on both gTLD-MoU related mailing lists (see
http://www.gtld-mou.org/docs/maillist.htm).
