House Subcommittee To Hold Hearings On Domain Names

Not content to let the White House take the lead, the 
House is set to take up the debate over how best to assign 
Internet addresses this week.

In hearings scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, members of 
the Basic Research Subcommittee will hear from witnesses with 
differing views on a how domain name registry should be governed.
