If you want me to make a list of all of the people who've posted to this
list over the last month, I'd be glad to do so. But without making the list,
I think it'd be a lot more than just you, Jeff, Jim, and me.

Since I got involved in following these issues, I've tried to believe that
iPOC has the best interests of the Internet in mind, and that the flaws in
the MoU are honest mistakes. I've been able to ignore the vehement, and
usually ludicrous, attacks by opponents from the RSC Round Table camp.
However, it's harder to ignore the arrogance and pettiness of iPOC members
toward anyone in the Internet community who's interested in following the
issue, making suggestions, asking questions, or seeking answers.

I can understand that you tire of hearing the same attacks from the same
former eDNS members every month for two years. I can understand that you
tire of being called vicious names by "kooks." But I can't understand why
you feel the need to attack everyone who asks any questions or proposes
anything slightly different than your existing proposals, especially when
you're supposedly requesting public comments on two of the most important
issues in the MoU--how POC is constituted and what TLDs will be created--and
encouraging public input and debate into the process.

Your enemies claim that any closed bureaucratic structure such as you've
created is by nature going to be arrogant, elitist, and unaccountable. I
don't believe that's true. Some people within your system have proven that
it's not. However, people like you, Ivan Pope, and Perry Metzger, lend more
fuel to your opponents' arguments than anything they could say.
