Small businesses, mom and pop ISP's, WWW developers and
unfinanced individuals have equal right to the namespace
as your corporations. I warn you that .WTV and .FCN are
the domains I would like to steward into existance and
service. Anyone who disallows me the opportunity to serve
as a result of discriminatory practices is asking for
trouble. Why? Because the Internet is a medium of
INDIVIDUALS and small ventures like mine. It is *not*
the sole and exclusive playground of corporations. You
piss off the net and the net will eventually turn. Can
 you say Canter and Segel?

Heflin:

Because for the vast majority of humanity US$10,000, five
staff members, insurance and a US$300K line of credit add
up to several life time's worth of earnings if that. The
world is a desparate place shackled by poverty, famine,
disease and want. Your half a million entry point has
effectively rendered the namespace as forever out of the
control of anyone but the wealthy.

>Ok...so?

Then I don't have to listen to anything the CORE tries to
institute no do any of the 190 governments worldwide. Not
only that we are all free - by extension of logic - to do
as we please without regard for law, international process,
national soveriegnity, human rights, civil liberties and
so on because that is exactly what CORE is doing. And Internic
for that matter. These rogue organizations are steam-rolling
treaty and negotiation processes that have evolved over the
millenia in order to attempt to monopolize a new, virtual
 realm: The Internet.

And we will resist these attempts until they cease.
