So we are neing held hostage by the
personal relations between Jon (IANA)
and thirteen other people or firms?
How can this crucial bottleneck be
even vaguely acceptable when so many
hundreds of billions of dollars and
millions of people's livelyhoods are
at stake??!! This situation is an
anachronicm that would be inconcievable
in any other field of communications.
Imagine all telephone exchnages being
dependant on one guy and his dozen odd
buddies getting along! And if they didn;t
like you for some reason or other you
wouldn't get a phone number. Absurd.
There should be scores of Root Servers
worldwide as Fleming so wisely suggested
many moons ago. I also made a nifty Logo
for his Root 64 idea that ya'll could use
(if you're real nice about it!). It's viewable
as part of my Portfolio below.
