November 13, 1997: The gTLD-MoU interim Policy Oversight Committee, 
after reviewing responses received to the public request for comments 
Notice-97-02: "Review of new generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs)", 
consultation with the Council of Registrars (CORE), and the gTLD-MoU
Policy Advisory Body (PAB), has concluded a review of the 7 gTLD names 
suggested in the final report of the International Ad Hoc Committee's
(IAHC's) Recommendations for Administration and Management of gTLDs.  

The conclusions of this review are confirmation of .firm, .web, .info, 
.art, .rec & .nom as names of new gTLDs and the replacement of .store

Concerning the November 25, 1997 meeting "Internet domain name system - 
European information meeting on the gTLD-MoU (sponsored by the European 
Commission, DG XIII)in Brussels, Belgium, the venue for this meeting 
has been changed and additional reduced-rate hotel information is now
