Suggested startup senario

Traditionally - registraries started up slowly. The gtld will
probably start up fast with a proportion of the 86 registries trying
to push through the pre-registries they have.

What I'd like to see is a strict round-robin startup - order
determined by the date the registrar was accepted (as per the Results
web page), each registrar can 'grab' one new name per pass... then no
one registrar has an advantage over any other - and it becomes
impractical to start registering all combinations of 5 and under ascii
combinations.

This way - it also make sense to allow the collection of names for
'pre-registry.'

Adding to that - I'd suggest that all names registered in this first
phase are charged the same amount (something like $100 - inline with
.com) and the money (or proporton thereof) is paid directly through to
the central body - to help cover startup costs, software development -
etc.

Perhaps run this way for the first 7 days - and thus remove any
advantage one registry has over another?
