Internic is an historic anomaly. 
 Every reasonable observer and, I
 suspect, Internic itself, views
 free and open competition among
 a diversity of Domain Registries 
 to be the only viable alternative.
 CORE proposes only another form
 of monopoly. I trust this fact 
 becoming apparent to all concerned.
