I agree too.
I'm against removing Jeff from the list for three resons:
- the remedy may be worse of the disease: it will trigger another war,
causing further reduction of the signal-to-noise ratio in this list;
- nothing obliges anybody to read his messages, let alone to answer
(because of the fact that I have plenty of other things to do to please
my employer and make a living, I am myself obliged to sort out E-Mail by
subject & author, and throw away some w/o opening, exactly as I do at
home with junk mail);
- newcomers to the list, and people that have time to spare, may found
his messages funny (and the answers from people taking him seriously
even funnier...)
