TLD alias: .store and .shop

I would like to make a comment and a suggestoin about the proposed gTLD
.shop, which replaced .store.

I think that .store sounds much better for some things, and maybe .shop
sounds better for other things.

Would it be feasible to retain the .store as an alias to .shop?

That would satisfy both parties of people:  those who have business names
(or proposed domain names) that sound better with .shop and those who have
business names that sound better with .store.

Is this a good idea or not?
