Swiss Utopia: A Hollow Core

Heather Islip responded:
:A minor problem for males, of course. Would you care to remind
:your audience of precisely when women in this wonderful example
:of "democracy" were condescendingly awarded the vote? Five years
:ago? Ten maybe?
:
:And is it still the case that only women over 30 years old are
:considered mature enough to vote?
:
:Somehow this description of Switzerland as Utopia is less than
:convincing.

Another minor problem (for the Swiss
only it seems) are the missing billions
in funds deposited by families fleeing
the Halocaust in Swiss Banks. Add to
that more billions in even more mysterious
transfers of wealth through Swiss banks
by Nazis before during and *after* the
Second World War. Not to mention the
unknown and vast amount of money hidden
in Swiss banks by Corrupt political
 leaders, Drug Cartels and assorted
criminals world wide. And the pretty
 postcard picture of Switzerland just
oozes with blood money of the worse
 and most insideous variety.

Seem like the Swiss have developed the
ability to turn a blind eye to anything
if it is to their profit. And it seems
Switzerland, among all the flags of
 convenience, tax evasion and money
laundering, has perfected the fine art
 of simultaneously appearing impartial
and honest while at the same time acting
as the protectors and defenders of theives,
murderers and embezellers, not to mention
 control freak Internet monopolists.

And we will place Internet governance in
such a nation of peril? And we will do so
without the sanction of so much as one (1)
national government? And we will ignore all
dissent and protest over this proposal and
allow ourselves to be railroaded into permanent
 submission to obstructionist and corrupt
Swiss law? No. No. No. We will fight this
prospect with as much vigor as we fight
to reform the current US based monopoly.
And we will not give up until widespread
consensus is evident and self-evident and
an International agreement is fully in
place. Til then expect nothing but fierce
 resistance...
