I understood your note perfectly well. I did not ask you to pass on
the query to your informant, I asked you to pass on his/her contact
information to me in order that I might consult this person directly
in his/her capacity as a practising attorney.
It is not my normal practice to deal with my professional advisors
through intermediaries (particularly intermediaries whom I do not
know personally) and I find it very odd that you would assume any
intention on my part to do so.
However I feel that it is inappropriate to introduce

If there has been any suggestion to introduce this individual into
this public exchange, it certainly did not come from me. I did ask
specifically that you give me the contact information privately.

I repeat, I have not asked that any communication with the list be
initiated. I would like to speak to this person by telephone and am
willing to pay for the information I seek.
Your persistent unwillingness to pass on this information (privately)
to me is leading to my unwilling belief that this person does not
actually exist. I would prefer to believe otherwise.
