 1. Agreed. CORE, like all other
group, must be free to make
    their own business decisions
    no matter how disasterous.
And yes they can also peddle
    .WHOGIVESAHOOT if they like!

 2. Moving .COM/.NET/.ORG to CORE
    in Switzerland will never happen.
    If we North Americans have
    problems dealing with Internic
    now we will have nightmares
    with CORE's chocolate gnome
    Swiss version times ten. No.
As in go. As in never.

 3. Allowing the entire namespace
    (not to mention IP addressing
    and general Internet governance)
to fall forever into the hands
    of a monopolistic cartel will
doom the fate of the Internet
as a relatively free and open
    media of communications. Some
    phrases that spring to mind:

        "Over my dead body"

       "Pass the salt Eugene."

      "Give me net.liberty or
       give me cyber.death !"

Al: you're a busy guy and the staffer
that has to go through the reams of
e-mail you must be innundated with
has my pity. But this is one issue
 that cannot be back-burnered any
 longer. Address the problems by
 ensuring a).COM/.NET/.ORG stay
with a reformed Internic; b) Many
 Domain Registries are allowed to
 exist to open free competition
 on the Internet Namespace; c)CORE
is allowed to exist but only as
 one of many, many alternatives.
