As of: 16.14 GMT Weds 10 Dec 1997 excluding names on hold and
reserved (as opposed to delegated) domains:

Total Domain Names:		2,306,472

Currently growing at:	7,980 a day (67% of these domains
			are ISO country code, 43% are InterNIC)

This means that approx 49.96% of domain names are registered to US companies
and 50.04% are registered to non-US companies. 

The majority of domains are now registered by non-us companies!
