CORE Nonsense

>From http://www.corenic.org
>CORE is a non-profit organization created by leaders of the
>Internet community to administer the worldwide registration of
>new names on the Internet.
>
>The new names- .firm, .shop, .web, .arts, .rec, .info and .nom -
>will be available through independent CORE registrars on five
>continents.

When will the people behind CORE
stop speaking in such terms? They
 have been thoroughly discredited
time and time again and still are
 persevering in the illusion that
there is both wide support and a
 certain roll-out date of their
plans? A more accurate editing of
 the above skree would read:

"CORE is a group of businesses hiding behind a non-profit front
organization created by a handful of Internet old-timers and
attempting to monopolize the administration of everyone
interested in doing anything on the Internet. They will not
likely succeed and have failed repeated attempts to realize
their demented goals but you don't have to know that.

The new names .arts and .web were stollen from other organizations
which were registering them prior to COREs misguided launch. As for
.firm, .shop, .rec and .info who cares if CORE registers these as long
as they are reduced to only one of hundreds of alternative Name
Services Providers and any chance is eliminated of their domination
of this new field."
