I believe that Kent Crispin and others of the MoUvment(Read bowl movement)
have on many to many occasions.

Well as far as I know, the public must seek that oversight through their
US congressman or senator. That is the ONLY path the public currently
has and has had for oversight of the IANA's actions.
The IANA has not made a concerted effort to provide for a reasonable
method to provide for direct involvement in plan or process that involves the
public, Internet community on an individual basis, or the stakeholders. This
was made very clear in some of Ira's concerns in the GP. Read it Dave,
it is there in black and white.

I would say that the shoe is on the other foot. YOURS!

What are you referring to Dave? This is a public list is it not?

See my comments above. This assertion is only partly true, not completely.
The IANA has NOT made an asserted effort enough to include public oversight.
Not has it considered or made a concerted effort to DIRECTLY seek the
ideas of opinions of the stakeholders, or the Internet user community other
than through the ISOC or the ITU. That is not good enough Dave. And
you and/or Jon should know this. Didn't the Pickering congressional hearings
teach you anything?
