Correct! And this excerpt is a direct reflection of the opposite of what you
stated earlier. You have just made my point stronger, thank you! >;)
The IANA is not in control of the legacy Root servers. Never really has been.
Yes, it is true that the IANA has considerable influence currently, but fairly
recently
that influence has waned significantly due the their actions and lack of action,
that
lack of action being not adding gTLD's to the Legacy Roots specifically. Their
reduction of influence on those Legacy Roots was also demonstrated when the
leadership ( Dave Crocker in particular I believe), requested adding the 7
gTLD's
that the MoU recommended.
Either you have not been following events in the DNS debates/Discussions or
you are not recognizing events that have taken place.

Correct again! And again you have made my point in contrast to your
original post. Thank you again! >;)

Not at all Roberto. All I was pointing out and you have now helped support
was you earlier post indicating that the IANA is in control of the Legacy
Roots and will be under the new "Private Corporation". That is simply
incorrect from a White Paper point of view. Not only that, Roberto, the IANA
has had considerable influence over the DNS system, yes, but it has never
truly controlled it, as you and many others have professed. Case in point was
the request the the leadership of the MoU submitted for adding the 7 gTLD's
it recommended be added to those Legacy Roots, that NSI refused to do.
