Join the club Phill. You are right it doesn't bode well. I wrote the
Webmaster
about this but did not get a reply yet. Sounds like Jim Flemming was right.
At any rate I hope these isn't previews of coming attractions from the
NEW IANA. If they can't interactively update their website, I would hate
to trust them with managing the DNS system. Hell, my 5 yr old can manage
a web site better than the IANA is displaying here.
This seems to justify our contention that the IANA is not as competent as they
have been purported to be by the MoU folks. And this s very good example.
Thank god that NSI is the Root server operators, and not anyone on the
IANA staff. If the IANA can't manage a very simple web site better than this
they surely should not be touching any Root server or Name server!!!
