Well, I wrote my note BEFORE flying from Geneva to Malaysia, so I guess the
question is whether there is any way to blame my note on PRE-hoc (before
the fact) jet lag?  Probably not.

The other fallback, of course, is acknowledging just how sensitive/tense
all of this has been and is, and therefore being sorry that humor is so
easily missed.  

Hmmmm.  Might be a first, Dave.  While you have many skills vastly superior
to mine, I think this is the first time you got away with being too subtle
for me...
