While adopting such a domain would be in the best interest of the net and
its use would be spurred by sites wishing to appear contentious towards
protecting surfers from accidentally accessing potentially offensive
material, it should be carefully consider who would decide which sites fall
into this category and how it would be regulated. Voluntary use would show
the self-regulating nature of the Internet and appease some of the hysteria
driving current governmental attempts at regulation ("censorship"), but
forced compliance is an unacceptable solution given that individual
governments at the city, state, local and federal levels have yet to agree
on a precise definition of pornography. As a means of providing a
"red-light" zone it is a long overdue idea. As a means of forcing
regulation of adult content it would ultimately meet excessive, detrimental
resistance.

Thank you.
