Go right ahead.  However, what do you imagine that NSI might be able 
to do to you for sending them a letter saying that you don't agree 
to their policy?

Depends on whether you see any value to having influence on ICANN
decisions, I guess.  Members of ICANN will have influence on ICANN 
decisions.

No, it's not.  The three supporting organizations might be called 
constituencies, but the membership is (or will be) just an open
membership, and they will elect half the directors.  You could 
could win a slot on the board of directors, if you could talk your 
fellow ICANN members into electing you...
